Hospital Auxiliary

A legacy of caring

The Alma Hospital Auxiliary was formed in1951 to aid in the town’s efforts to build its first hospital out of a donated family residence. Since that time, the Alma Memorial Hospital Auxiliary has raised thousands of dollars in funds from the community to assist the hospital in acquiring needed equipment and amenities.

Currently the group is fundraising to help create a Healing Garden at the hospital – an outdoor environment designed to influence visitors in positive, healing ways.

The Auxiliary holds an annual bazaar in October and operates the vending machines at the hospital. For information on how you can assist the Auxiliary in its activities, contact President Jana Cochran or Treasurer Agatha Walker at 928-2081 or through the hospital.
